Meet Heather

Wife. Mum. Grandmother. Coach.

Always moving. Always showing up.

Heather

I’m Heather — mum of nine, grandmother (Mimi) of five, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and someone who has never once believed that being a woman with a full life means giving up on taking care of yourself.

This isn’t a business bio. It’s just me telling you who I am, because I think that matters more.

The ocean never gets old.

I grew up near Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island, and the water has been in my bones ever since. There’s something about standing at the edge of the ocean that just resets everything. The noise, the stress, the to-do list — it all shrinks when the waves are coming in.

The beach is still my happy place. Any chance I get to be near the water, I take it.

Staying active has always been a mindset, not a phase.

I was jogging while I was pregnant. Not to prove a point — it’s just who I am. Taking care of my body has always been part of how I take care of everything else. Before pregnancy, after pregnancy, through all nine of them.

It was never about bouncing back. It was about staying grounded.

Being active is how I process life. It’s my outlet. My reset button. Moving — whether that’s a structured workout, a hike, or just getting outside — is how I stay sane through the beautiful chaos of this life I love.

Nine kids. Five grandkids. The whole crazy, beautiful thing.

Kevin and I have nine kids — five boys, four girls — ranging in age from 12 to 34. And five grandkids we’re completely wild about. It’s a loud, wonderful, never-a-dull-moment life, and I wouldn’t trade a single chaotic minute of it.

The whole family is close. We hike together. We laugh together. We show up for each other. Of all the things this life has to offer, nothing — nothing — compares to the richness of a child.

Kayaking with my daughter — one of my favorite people on the planet.

The coaching part came naturally.

I am a personal trainer at a local women’s gym. I’ve been an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer since 2020 and earned my Elite Trainer certification in 2023. While I’ve utilized local gyms throughout the years, I’ve always continued to train at home — with bands, dumbbells, a step stool, and my bodyweight. COVID never slowed me down. Sure, I’ve won some trophies in a fitness competition along the way, but the credential I’m most proud of is this: I figured out how to stay strong and consistent in the middle of a full, real, messy life. And I built a program so other women can do the same.

Strength 4 Life isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up — three to five days a week, in whatever corner of your house you’ve got — and building something that lasts.

“You don’t need a fancy gym. You need a plan, consistency, and someone who’s actually done the work. That’s what Strength 4 Life is.”
